The twins were identical, with Rubyrajan born one minute before Binsa on January 1st, 2000.
Other passengers marvelled at the five-year-old’s bubbling inquisitiveness charmed by their exceptional beauty, impressed by their verbal acuity and most of all, endeared by their close personal connection. As they neared the end of their bus trip, both girls were overjoyed with excitement that Auntie Krishtina was taking them to visit Kathmandu for the annual Indra Jatra festival to observe the Hindu priests carrying the Royal Kumari on a golden chariot first used by King Prithivi Narayan Shah in 1768. For the best part of four hours, Rubyrajan and Binsa maintained a constant stream of chatter recounting adventures during their time at their aunt's home in the majestic mountain village of Mungling.
